Now, if you meant I should have hired the roofing company separately, then I can understand that, now that I've had to spend all this time researching and learning. But before, we homeowners assumed we could trust the guys in the trades to get hired to do a job and do it right. I'm thinking that even if I did hire this company directly, there would have been the same exact guys up on my roof doing the same quality job. We have to put our trust in the company after we know enough about them to feel comfortable and then if they do a good job, they get paid and a good word towards their name in the future. They screw it up, we give them a chance to make it right and if they screw us, we have to fight them. These are the companies that make it harder for the good guys out there.
